Where is parking available?You can park for free anywhere along 23rd Street. Daniels Street, just around the corner, is also a convenient option. Alternatively, feel free to ride, walk, or bike to our location!

What is the maximum number of people allowed per 90-minute session?Our sessions can accommodate up to four people due to the size of our sauna and the number of cold plunges. If you have a larger group, please contact us, and we will do our best to coordinate and accommodate your special requests.

How do I enter the property?When facing our house from the street, please enter through the double gate located on the side of the house. Kindly ensure that you close the gate behind you.

What is the temperature of the sauna?Our two-tier sauna maintains a temperature between 180 and 205 degrees Fahrenheit. The bottom bench near the door is the coolest, while the top bench near the heater is the warmest.

Is there a shower available for use?Yes, we have a shower available for your use. Please shower before entering the cold plunge or sauna and again before you leave. We provide shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, but you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer.

Is there time today for me to book a session?We operate on a appointment only basis. You can book using the Book Now Button at the top of our pages to see what spots are available on our calendar. Our booking window starts 10 days out from today and closes 4 hours before the start of each session.

Do you offer Private Sessions?There's only one way to currently guarantee you'll have the space to yourself for a private session ( for 1-4 people) and that is to purchase all four spaces available for the time slot you're interested in. (Pro-Tip: Book early ;) )

What is a contrast therapy?Contrast therapy at USH is the process of alternating between cold water immersion and dry sauna use. A good working protocol is about 15-20 minutes in the sauna followed by 1-3 minutes in the cold plunge. (with a short shower rinse in between)

What should I bring with me?Good question! Bathing Suit Lots of water (you'll loose alot sweating in the sauna) Two towels. One to sit on in the sauna. One to towel off with after showering

How cold are the cold plunges?A: One of our cold plunges is set to 40 degrees Fahrenheit (or lower) and the other ones are 40- 50 degrees plus (depending on the weather).

Where can I find a bathroom?FAQ Q: Where can I find a bathroom? A: Uptown Sauna House has a bathroom located in the entrance to the basement. Head straight downstairs and enter the main area. You'll see it on the right.
